Computer Assets was established in 1993 by local entrepreneur, Abe Salazar, in the Valley of Española, New Mexico.
After graduating with a Bachelors of Chemistry from New Mexico Highlands University, Abe began consulting work for the State programming software. While consulting he came to realize that developing software and databases would provide a great service to his home state.
This sparked Abe to launch Computer Assets, a networking company, as a sole proprietorship in his home office, with a 386 Processor that he bought with a small loan from his parents.
